It is used for Muscle breakdown, Poor brain function related to liver disease, Arthritis, Ulcers, Dehydration, Amino acid deficiency, Breathing problems in premature infant, Low blood sugar, Schizophrenia, Wound healing and other conditions.

Not for use in patients with documented or suspected fructose intolerance.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: personal or family history of psychiatric disorders (such as bipolar/manic-depressive disorder), personal or family history of suicide attempts, bleeding problems, personal or family history of glaucoma (angle-closure type), high blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease, seizuredisorder, stomach problems (such as slow emptying of the stomach), use/abuse of alcohol.

This solution must be diluted before use.

Before use, check the integrity of the container and its sealing. Check the clarity and color of the solution.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Some drugs that may interact with this drug are Actidose plus sorbitol, Aminophylline, Amphetamine and Activated charcoal.
